The widest NSX this side of a Super GT car and it’s driven regularly… on bags… with an 80HP shot of nitrous. Meet Fujii-san’s NA1 Honda NSX.
Admittedly, NSX purists might cringe but you can’t deny the absolute neck-snapping visual magnetism this widebody NSX has. In Japan this car gets instant right of way wherever it goes and if another driver is too slow to react, a quick stab of the throttle up to redline ensures the obstructing car moves out of the way. There’s a lengthy story behind this car and all we can say is that this is just the tip of the widebody iceberg… this car has “friends”.
Article up soon. Stay 7Tuned!

Damn! I didn’t know they made them that wide down in Kansai!
Over… “over” in Kansai :p
There’ll be more over time too, this wasn’t a fluke.
BADASS
Those canards look lethal to pedestrians haha
Now I want to play Carmageddon.
thats a crazy road car!
can it be used in suburban road? how you want to go visit your parent at new year?
that’s insane. really it is. please do more of this!!
i don’t know: Yes the NSX is road registered and is driven on the street at least a few times every week.
That is…sex on wheels. No two ways about it.
BTW- Is it just me, or is it about time for pop-up headlights to make a serious comeback?
now THAT is cool!
cant wait for the full feature!
SteveTX: Return of pop-ups would be cool, as would flip-around hidden style (I think some Dodge Charger’s had them?) Would of been a cool throw-back for the new ToyBaru 086a if they planned to released separate models, completely uneconomical though haha
“can it be used in suburban road? how you want to go visit your parent at new year?”
If he can afford to mod NSX to that extend, I’m pretty sure he will have few cash to spare to buy a land cruiser. Or a diahatsu coure at least.
It’s rare case in Kansai.
Its just so awesome I will beg for a larger version of this photo.. 1600×1050 pls? ^^
I swear Ive seen this car before in a tuner magazine in the states a couple of years ago. Anybody???
