I cannot understand why the Japanese claim ALL these prizes with a Lexus.
None of their cars keep their value!!! That is the bottom line!
Where as the German stables have CLASS...something the Japanese can only dream of!
I own an M3, C55 & an Audi TT 3,2 DSG.... Lexus?...NEVER!

Let me help save some money for Lexus.

Lexus here is what you need to do and it's very simple.

Take the current IS-F and get rid of that hideous looking fenders and rear bumper. Put a conventional LSD and for god sake a manual transmission.
Get rid of the heavy seats and all the junk that try to drive the car for you
Go easy on the sound deadening
Put bigger fenders out back and some rubber [not slap a big engine in a IS 250 with big brakes and call it a sports sedan]
No fancy silly looking exhaust and have someone who can make some sense of simple fluid dynamics design the exhaust. Or just don't pinch the pipe in the middle to 1" ID
Did I mentioned a conventional LSD and a third pedal <-- the third pedal is for a stick shift. AKA manual transmission [you know the one that the driver has to change gears] And for god sake, don't let the guys developing the LS anywhere near the car. It may be usefull to have cople of engineers who actually know what a SPORTS sedan should be. If it's still not clear, get a M3 and slap a Lexus badg on it.
Slapping on carbon fiber crash parts and chargine insane amount of money do not make it a Sports sedan. Trust me.

There some free advice since you seems to miss the mark EVERY TIME.

James, I'd say if it ever makes it to Australia it would be hitting the streets at up around Au$250,000. With taxes, dealers fees etc. I would imagine this would be the ball park figure?
