The current RX-8 and Atenza M’z Tune special edition models of the Mazdaspeed line up will soon be joined by a Roadster model. Mazda E&T are responsible for the M’z Tune edition models, giving further individuality to the Mazdaspeed badged cars.
Both the Mazdaspeed Atenza M’z Tune and RX-8 M’z Tune were released in February ’07, and scheduled to be joined by the M’z Tune Roadster this Spring. The ‘M’z Tune’ adds subtle changes to the already successful Roadster base, with a high quality body kit, lightened flywheel, height adjustable Bilstien suspension, modified intake and sports exhaust, remapped ECU, Mazdaspeed brake pads, original design alloy wheels and the M’z special silver metallic paint. Power is still quoted at 170PS and 19.3kg/m. On the inside Mazdaspeed branded scuffplates and gearknob, aswell as new ‘3D Net’ sports seats adorn the interior.
The Mazdaspeed Roadster M’z Tune will sell for 3,150,000 yen.
