A leaked image of the new Nissan Fairlady Z appears… with S30 styling cues!
Thanks to Corism we’ve been alerted to an image depicting the new Z34 Fairlady Z (370Z) that comes hot on the heels of Nissan’s official announcement of a 2008 release of the Fairlady Z and a convertible V36 Skyline/Ininiti G37. It’s very pleasing to see some S30 Fairlady Z influences around the quarter window area! Details on the Fairlady Z include a VQ37VHR VVEL powerplant producing 350ps/6000rpm and 38.5kgm/4500rpm. It’s expected to be mated to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed ‘Sports Shift’ automatic transmissions.

The new Z34 is expected to be shorter in length at 4150mm (4310 for the current model) but also wider at 1850mm as opposed to the Z33′s 1815mm. The Z34 will be joined by a roadster model sometime after the coupe’s release in December this year. The Z34 Fairlady Z is expected to hit the market at around 3,700,000 yen.
