Nissan Motorsports Event At Nissan Gallery Nagoya Coming Up

Those in Nagoya throughout March can check out the Nissan Gallery where a motorsports event is planned in the lead up to the first round of the 2010 Super GT championship.

From March 1st – 31st the “Potential For Your Driving” event will be held at Nissan Gallery Nagoya (Google Map) to showcase some of Nissan’s more recent racing heritage. On display will be the 2008 Xanavi Nismo GT-R and the 1993 Group A Calsonic Nissan Skyline race cars and assorted parts and equipment that was used in recent Super GT seasons. Takara Tomy and Polyphony Digital will also have a presence with Takara Tomy presenting a Tomica display and for the Gran Turismo fans, Polyphony will set up its Gran Turismo 5 driving simulator where visitors will be able to race the Motul Autech GT-R GT500 car and a Nissan GT-R Spec V.

Over the nine days that fall on the weekends and public holiday through March, 20 lucky visitors per day will also be able to win an original Nissan key ring if they register at the event. If all that wasn’t enough, racing driver Matsuda Tsugio will feature in a talk show at the Nagoya Gallery on March 14th from 2PM. Admission is free and opening times are from 10AM – 8PM every day.
