Sneak Peek: 2010 Audi TT-RS

I know. It’s an Audi and Audis are German but we at 7tune think we should broaden our horizons and start opening up our coverage to not just Japanese manufacturers but those from other countries as well. At least one thing is certain though – you can definitely count on the scenery and architecture to be Japanese!

Audi Japan were kind enough to lend me this 250kw ( 335hp ) TT-RS monster for the weekend and I have come away utterly addicted. I don’t want to give it back. Every time I got in it, I wanted to mash the accelerator pedal as hard as I could at every set of lights and the drug this thing delivered me was so addictive, I played its exhaust note in my head to help me fall asleep.

I went up to the Hakone turnpike proving grounds to put the TT-RS through its paces and when wound up to 8/10ths it delivered a driving experience nothing short of spectacular.
