What I thought was going to be a mostly cloudy but fine day turned into thunderstorms and an early return home. That’s not to say it was a waste of time heading to Central Circuit on Sunday, quite the opposite actually! Not only did Trial Osaka have their scheduled ”Circuit Run”, but a whole heap of Honda NSXs and a trio of incredibly tough FD3Ss from Autocraft made an appearance too. Read more

Out the front of a Lawson convenience store in the middle of nowhere (central Hyogo actually) was this ZZT231 Toyota Celica SS-II. On the outside at least it looked to be fairly modified, but what happened to all the ZZT Celicas? I get around Kansai a lot but this is the only modified ZZT23x I’ve seen on the streets for quite a while. Read more

“Kei” or “lightweight” cars are ubiquitous in Japan. Everywhere you go there’s at least a hundred of them scattered around the place either in small truck form doing deliveries or little vans and hatchbacks getting from A to B. It’s not often you seem them modified past a new set of lowered springs, an exhaust and a set of wheels. Maybe even a body kit if the owner is feeling adventurous. Read more
